FAQ

1. You provide services to clients “diagnosed” with substance use disorders. How formal does that diagnosis need to be, and who needs to provide it?

 

2. How long has LifeHouse Behavioral House been around?

We are a partner facility to LifeHouse Group, a residential sober living facility located in Dixmoor, Illinois, providing wrap-around, in-patient care to approximately 100 men with substance abuse disorders. LifeHouse Group began operations four years ago in May 2020, and [stats regarding success – men served, jobs, etc.] Through our operations at LifeHouse Group, we realized the need for outpatient services to complement our offerings.


3. Does it matter if previous attempts at sobriety have failed?
Not at all. We understand that addressing substance use is a process and believe the only important thing about failure is your ability to try again.


4. How long does it take to complete your outpatient program?
Because we approach each individual uniquely, the average length of treatment will depend upon the patient’s need level and the effectiveness of the treatment; we do not offer one singular treatment protocol. We do, however, assess care levels regularly to make sure that placement in our program is still appropriate.


5. How are your methods different from other outpatient facilities and providers?


6. What accommodations do you offer for potential clients requiring remote services?
We do not currently offer remote therapy; future services in this area will depend upon reaching sufficient capacity to make such offerings viable.


7. Do you have a waiting list for services?
We currently have space in our programs.
